Ronit Kreisberger is a leading Senior Junior barrister at the London Bar and former Solicitor-Advocate, whose practice spans all aspects of Competition, Regulatory and Trade law. She has featured in numerous ground-breaking competition cases over the years such as Courage v Crehan, the Construction Bid-rigging Appeals, MasterCard and the Air Cargo Appeals. She recently appeared in the Court of Appeal as Joint Lead Advocate for the European Commission in the Interchange Appeals.
She is uniquely-positioned as a leader in the specialist field of pharmaceutical antitrust law and has acted for a range of pharmaceutical companies, both generics and originators, such as Merck in the seminal pay for delay cases of Lundbeck in the ECJ and paroxetine in the CAT; Pfizer, Teva and Roche in the series of High Court actions brought by Chemistree; and Flynn Pharma in the current UK appeal against the CMA on excessive pricing.
Ronit regularly appears in the High Court, Competition Appeal Tribunal and Court of Justice in Luxembourg, as case leader, as well as defending clients before a range of competition and industry regulators. She has extensive experience of injunctions, large scale damages actions and regulatory appeals. Ronit’s cases span a wide range of industry sectors, with particular expertise in media, sport and life sciences.
Ronit is well-placed to advise on all matters relating to Brexit, in particular in the competition law and regulatory fields, as well as post-Brexit trade relationships.
