Dr. Ariel Flavian is an expert in Real Estate Law, planning and construction, local authorities, tender laws and class actions. In his work, Ariel has represented multiple local authorities and urban corporations. Ariel has led many urban construction projects for multiple contractors consisting of thousands of housing units, kibbutz projects, commercial construction and public construction for authorities and urban corporations.
Ariel also deals with real estate litigation, compulsory purchases, compulsory purchases claims,depreciation of the value of real estate and associated matters.
Ariel is a practicing lawyer in Israel and partner at Herzog Fox & Neeman and is also licensed as a solicitor in England and Wales.
Ariel Conducted a class action comparative research for his PHD at Brunel University London UK, and wrote a few articles about class actions. Ariel’s recent article about the appointment of lawyers by the courts in class action proceedings was recently published in the University of Haifa Journal Din Udvarim. In 2015 he wrote a chapter regarding the Israeli class actions in Eva Lein and Duncan Fairgrieve’s book: Collective Redress in Europe Why and How.
Ariel teaches at the University of Haifa a course on class actions and collective redress.
