Anthony is Managing Partner of the London office with over 25 years of experience in international dispute resolution.
On launching Hausfeld’s European hub in London in 2009, Anthony recognised the positive impact funding and flexible fee arrangements would have on the ability of corporates to pursue competition claims. He is widely recognised as having established Hausfeld as the leading claimant firm in Europe and is recognised by his peers as a pioneer of private enforcement.
It is this ability to “think outside the box” that has led him, together with Lianne Craig, to extend Hausfeld’s reputation for innovation to the banking litigation team’s clients. As the Managing Partner, his unwavering support to help grow this team has culminated in the development of a strong commercial and banking litigation team capable of taking on a range of high-value and complex commercial and financial services cases against the world’s largest banks and businesses.
Anthony is also a skilled negotiator with a renowned ability to formulate innovative settlement strategies – he has personally overseen settlements on behalf of over 250 claimants. He co-chairs both the GCR & European Forum Competition Litigation conferences ,is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (having arbitrated under many rules including the LCIA, ICC and LME), an accredited Mediator and former Secretary of the London Solicitors Litigation Association, as well as a speaker across the globe on complex litigation..
